Student Schedules, Laptop Distribution, Back To School Forms, Parent Portal
Dear Garnet Gull Families,
I am writing to officially welcome you to the 2019-2020 school year. This year, you will notice all of our Back to School forms are available through the Genesis Parent Portal. This change is aligned with our ongoing Green initiatives and goal to improve school-to-home communication. Our school will continue to use the Genesis Parent Portal as the primary form of communication with our families.
Starting on August 14th, you will be able to access your Genesis Parent Portal. By 10:00 AM on August 14th you will receive an email with directions explaining how you can log into the Genesis Parent Portal. If you do not receive this email by 10:00 A.M. on August 14th, you can send an email to email@example.com requesting the log in information. Parents/guardians will see a total of twelve forms that require review and acknowledgment within the Genesis Parent Portal. Access to other modules within the Genesis Parent Portal will not be available until after these forms are reviewed.
Student laptops will be distributed on Monday, August 19th and Tuesday, August 20th between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM. The school will also have a computer available on these dates and times for families who would like to use the school’s internet to access the portal. Please bring the required agreement form with your check or money order in the appropriate amount. Further information and the required form will be accessible through Genesis Parent Portal.
Student schedules will be available through Genesis Parent Portal on Wednesday, August 21st. Schedules will not be available until all forms in the Genesis Parent Portal have been reviewed and acknowledged within the parent/guardian account. Counselors will be available in the guidance office for any valid academic schedule changes on Wednesday, August 28th from 12:00 P.M. - 2:30 P.M. and Thursday, August 29th from 9:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M.
Should you have additional questions about this process, please contact our school directly.
Wishing all of you a safe and productive 2019-2020 school-year!
Nathan Grosshandler, Ed.D.
