Degrees and Certifications:
Mr. Chris Wilson
To say that I am excited to be a part of the Point Pleasant Beach school community, again, would be an understatement. After 16 years, it has all come full circle, and I am back at the place that helped me develop the skills necessary for success in college and my career. The "Beach" is a tight-knit community and I look forward to continuing the great tradition that has been established here. The past 12 years of my career have been spent in Ocean Township (Monmouth County), first as an 8th grade Ancient World History teacher, and then at Ocean Township High School teaching AP European History and US History III. For the past 4 years, I served as the Supervisor of World Cultures, which included Social Studies-Grades 6-12, World Language-Grades K-12, and ESL/Bilingual-Grades K-12.
Point Pleasant Beach High School has always provided a personal learning experience for its' students. We are committed to creating the best academic program for every child, to help them build the skills necessary for success through their high school and college years, as well as in their future careers. Additionally, we strive to offer multiple pathways for students to explore their interests, academic and extracurricular. Our teachers hold high class expectations and deliver rigorous, relevant, and engaging instruction. Our school also provides dual college credit opportunities and skill-based activities to help students develop in key areas. I encourage all of our students to become involved, take advantage of the opportunities provided here, and make the most of their high school experience.
