On October 10, 2018, students in grade 8 will participate in the PSAT 8/9. The assessment is 2 hours and 25 minutes long and will be administered in the morning.

NJSLA- New Jersey Student Learning Assessment
(previously known as PARCC)
In May of 2019, students in grades 3-8 will participate in the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC). The two areas tested in PARCC are English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. The assessment spans over the course of 5 consecutive days. Students will test in the morning.
May 6-10, 2019 - Grades 6-8
May 13-17, 2019 - Grades 3-5
Grades 3-8: 3 units of ELA
Grades 3-5: 4 units of Mathematics
Grades 6-8: 3 units of Mathematics.
Grade 8: 3 units of Algebra I
**Algebra I is a New Jersey high school graduation requirement beginning with the Class 2021.
The NJSLA-S (New Jersey Student Learning Assessment - Science) will be administered to students in grades 5 & 8 on May 20-21, 2019. Each grade level tested will complete 4 units over the 2 days. The computer-based assessment was developed using the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Science. Students will test in the morning.
