On October 16, 2019, students in grade 8 will participate in the PSAT 8/9. The assessment is 2 hours and 25 minutes long and will be administered in the morning.

NJSLA- New Jersey Student Learning Assessment
In May of 2020, students in grades 3-8 will participate in the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJSLA). The two areas tested are English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. The assessment spans over the course of 5 consecutive days. Students will test in the morning.
May 4-8, 2020 - Grades 5-8
May 11-15, 2020 - Grades 3-4
Grades 3-8: 2 units of ELA
Grades 3-8: 3 units of mathematics
Grade 8 (Algebra 1): 2 units of mathematics
The NJSLA-S (New Jersey Student Learning Assessment - Science) will be administered to students in grades 5 & 8 on May 18-19, 2020. Each grade level tested will complete 4 units over the 2 days. The computer-based assessment was developed using the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Science. Students will test in the morning.
