PSAT 8/9A date will be determined during the 3rd marking period for students in grade 8 to participate in the PSAT 8/9. The assessment is 2 hours and 25 minutes long and will be administered in the morning.**If a student is permitted extra time or any other accommodations by their IEP, parent/guardians should contact the guidance office for additional details on accommodations and accessibility options.NJSLA- New Jersey Student Learning Assessment(required as per state and federal law)In Spring of 2021, students in grades 3-8 will participate in the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJSLA). The two areas tested are English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. The assessment spans over the course of 5 consecutive days. Students will test in the morning.Spring 2021 Dates TBD - Grades 5-8Spring 2021 Dates TBD -Grades 3-4Any changes to the testing information will be communicated prior to testing.Grades 3-8: 3 units of ELA (75 min per day for Grade 3 and 90 min per day for Grades 4-8) (includes 1 field test unit)Grades 3-8: 3 units of mathematics (60 min per day for all grades)Grade 8 (Algebra 1): 2 units of mathematics (90 min per day)NJSLA-S (Science)(required as per state and federal law)The NJSLA-S (New Jersey Student Learning Assessment - Science) will be administered to students in grades 5 & 8 during Spring, 2021.
