Please let us take this opportunity to welcome you to the Accreditation for Growth (AFG) website of the Point Pleasant Beach School District.

 

At the beginning of the 2008 - 2009 school year, "The Beach" formulated a Middle States Committee comprised of Board of Education and community members, teachers, parents, students, and administrators.  This group has been meeting regularly and has revised the District's Mission Statement to ensure that it reflects a core set of school beliefs.  The Middle States Committee was also instrumental in reviewing survey results from a variety of stakeholding groups in order to set the goals and objectives that will frame our vision for the next seven years.  Action teams were then created at the beginning of the 2009 - 2010 school year.  Through their collective efforts, Action Plans were created in order to achieve the targeted objectives.

 

As we continue with the accreditation process, all documents will be available for review, including our student objectives/goals which have received final approval from Middle States.

 

On behalf of "The Beach," we want to extend our sincere thanks to everyone in our district for helping us continue its tradition of "The Few, The Proud, The Beach."  We look forward to the Middle States Validation Team's visiting our district from March 8th through March 11th, 2010.
