How To Embed Content From Other Websites Into Your School Web Pages

The Internet is full of content and applications that you can embed into your own web pages. Below is an example of flashcard content embedded from Quizlet.com. Schooltube, blabberize and flexipoll are some of the many services that provide customizable and embeddable content out there on the web.


 

You can embed content from other websites yourself following these instructions:
1. Once you have found some embeddable content on a website, copy the embed code. If you see a link to 'embed' content, follow it now.

Once the link is clicked, copy the code the site provides you.

2. Sign in to your school website and enter the Site Manager. You can create a new page or paste your embeddable content in an existing page. Click on the 'View HTML' button at the bottom of your webpage.

3. Paste the code you copied from the website into the new window (Source Editor) that pops up.

Click the OK button and close this window. You will now see your content embedded on your website, be sure to SAVE it as you would with any web page you create.

4. Admire your webpage!
