Language Arts Curriculum
Philosophy of Language Arts Literacy
Language Arts provides students the opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding of themselves, society, and the world through reading, writing, speaking, listening, and viewing media. Language Arts Literacy helps students make connection and communicate through these components as a whole that work together, instead of isolated skills that stand alone. Teachers must create authentic and meaningful lessons and activities in order to enable students to think, listen, speak, read, and write.
